About Lori Smith Priest

Lori Smith PriestLori Smith Priest is an experienced professional educator that currently teaches students in the 5th grade. Lori acquired her educational training and coordinated her student teaching experience at Southeastern Louisiana University, at which she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and received numerous academic accolades. Lori was featured on the President’s List for four semesters, and earned the distinction of being a TOPS Scholar from 2007 to 2011. Lori also earned a spot the Dean’s List during her undergraduate career. Upon graduation, Lori earned her first job as a 2nd grader teacher. After rewarding work in this position, Lori advanced to a position within the same school district as an ELA teacher for 4th and 5th grades. Today, Lori instructs 5th grade students in ELA classes.

Lori currently lives in Mississippi with her husband, a successful real estate agent and host of the popular television show, Trained Assassins Television. Lori is an avid hunter, and enjoys improving her skill in the sport with her husband. Lori is also an athlete of CrossFit, an elite strength and conditioning program that combines weight lifting, cardio, core training, and gymnastics for a whole-body workout. At her first CrossFit team competition, Lori and her team won 2nd place. Living a healthy life is important to both Lori and her husband, and their choice to hunt, cook healthy meals, and participate in CrossFit helps them do just that.
